Our POP UP Shop Event Photos are in...
On Thursday, June 13, Liberated People hosted a physical pop-up event featuring eco-friendly shopping and cocktails courtesy of Stoli and Vita Coco, at the all new vintage boutique, Shirley + Alice. The event, using the offical hashtag #LBR8, hosted by Liberated People founder, New York Times contributor, activist and actor Gbenga Akinnagbe (The Savages, The Taking of Pelham 123, Damages, Lottery Ticket, The Wire) and celebrity stylist (client roster includes Carmelo Anthony, Foot Locker and Carol’s Daughter founder Lisa Price) and owner of Shirley & Alice, Khalilah Williams-Webb. The Spring/Summer 2013 Liberated People collection was on display at the event. A portion of the profits from t-shirt sales at the event will be donated to Beat The Streets, to help them achieve their goals of improving the quality of life of their youth members.
