Remembering Trayvon

Two years ago, on February 26th 2012, Trayvon Benjamin Martin was murdered by a volunteer watchman. The trial last July rocked the nation and the killer was able to walk free while two parents mourned the death of their beloved son. Today, in neighborhoods around the country, vigils are being held in honor of Trayvon. His death is an unfortunate reminder of the killings of unarmed young black males and the justice that was never served. From Emmitt Till to Jordan Davis, Liberated People will continue to stand firm for these young men to make sure they are not forgotten.
